2005 Yalumba Hand Picked Single Site Fromm Vineyard Shiraz

The grapes for this wine were grown in the Hahn Farm Vineyard at Light Pass in the Barossa Valley. The wine has been matured for 18 months in French oak.
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violet and spice followed by black and white pepper. The palate has excellent weight and generous mouthfeel – full bodied classic Barossa voluptuousness. Ripe plum, spice, vanilla and cedar flavours are perfectly balanced. A wine of elegance and style. Very long black pepper aftertaste.
