2005 Yalumba Barossa Shiraz

A well made red – very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of plum, followed by spice and stewed fruit – end notes of toasted oak and liquorice. On the palate flavours of mocha and liquorice are followed by stewed fruit. Firm slightly chalky tannins. Very good balance. Aftertaste of liquorice, mocha and stewed fruit with chalky tannins persisting.
