2005 Winbirra Vineyards Royale Pinot Noir

Outstanding colour. Semi translucent deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of ripe strawberry jam, spice and clove, with perfumed spicy end note. The palate opens slowly – being quite tight at first. There is plenty of varietal character evident, flavours of spice, strawberry and cherry, supported by fine grained tannins. Very spicy aftertaste.
