An elegant Chardonnay.
This wine has not undergone any malolactic fermentation. Bright straw colour with water like hue. Superb, refined nose – reminiscent of a great White Burgundy. The structure displays elegance and refinement as well as a persistence of flavour. Citrus and cashew layers emerge. Clean acid finish. Long aftertaste of citrus and grapefruit.

An element of finesse and elegance rare in the Hunter Valley outside of Tyrrell’s, Lake’s Folly and Keith Tulloch; a seamless marriage of stone fruit and oak; despite the screwcap, best earlier than later.
