The 103 acres of vines at Turners Crossing is located on the banks of the Loddon River. The soils are composed of well drained sandy, clay loam top soils. The sub soil consists of red, light medium clays containing limestone pebbles. Viognier is co-fermented with Shiraz in stainless steel vats in order to preserve fruit flavours and intensity. Maceration times vary from 12 to 24 days on skins, with the majority of the batches being naturally fermented. A brilliant example of the blend, which is comprised of 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier.

Totally opaque colour with excellent cling, showing black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, top note of dried apricot, blackberry and black pepper – a powerful aroma profile. Mouthfilling palate – flavours of liquorice, dried apricot, blackberry and black pepper. Fine grained tannins – perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of dried apricot, blackberry, black pepper and spice.
