2005 Trevor Jones Wild Witch Reserve Dry Grown Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing good cling to the wall of the glass. Superb aroma of confectionary, violets, spice and vanilla, followed by a blackberry end note. A delightful perfumed sniff. The palate delivers flavours of liquorice, mocha, vanilla, spice and confectionary. It is drier than expected and does not have the typical Barossa Valley voluptuous quality. Flavours of stewed plum, mocha and dark chocolate over a vanilla background. Fine dry tannins. Long spicy aftertaste.
