2005 The Story Grampians Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing good cling. Top note of vanilla, liquorice allsorts, spice and ripe plum, showing strong varietal sniff. The palate is tighter that the nose suggests, with flavours of liquorice, plum and stewed fruit. Dryish chalky tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla, liquorice and plum with fine chalky tannins persisting. Cellar 2-3 years (2010-2011)
