- Cellar 3 - 4 years (2010-2011)

Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of violet, followed by a hint of earth, raspberry and spice, showing good aromatic lift. Velvet tannin structure, with ‘joosy’ ripe fruit quality. Flavours of spice, raspberry jam, liquorice allsorts and vanilla. Excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of vanilla, spice, raspberry and liquorice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2010-2011)
Other Reviews... The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2005 Old Vine Grenache Alexander Laing (from 80- to 100-year-old vines) offers damp earth-like notes intermixed with scents of kirsch liqueur, licorice, and pepper. This wine explodes at the back of the palate after a subtle and restrained attack. With a huge finish as well as loads of richness and extract, it should drink well during its first decade of life.
