2005 Stumpy Gully Merlot

A merlot showing distinct varietal character overlaid with pronounced truffle and leather. Medium body. Bright crimson colour. Top note of mulberry and cassis with spice and stewed fruit end notes. On the palate flavours of ripe mulberry over spice. Truffle and old leather are in the background. Excellent balance. Aftertaste of mulberry, truffle, old leather and earth.
