2005 Stonier Reserve Pinot Noir

The Pinot Noir vines at Stonier are now 25 years old and deliver considerable complexity of flavour. Translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is impressive, with lifted notes of spice and cherry, followed by a cinnamon end note. Excellent palate weight and depth of flavour. Flavours of ripe strawberry and plum, delivering a good power wave. Velvet tannins. Very spicy aftertaste. Long after flavours of liquorice, cherry and spice.
