2005 Smith & Hooper Wrattonbully Cabernet Merlot

Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of blackcurrant, spice and cedar followed by a mulberry, spice end note. On the palate flavours of mulberry, cassis and blackcurrant emerge, followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts. Fine grained tannins. The palate exhibits plenty of ripe fruit. Aftertaste of mulberry, cassis and spice.
An elegant Cabernet.
