Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2014, this 'mystery' indie release from German bottlers, 'Sansibar' is reportedly a young Glenfarclas. Limited to 220 bottles.

Tasting notes: Flawless bright gold with brilliant clarity. The peppery opening whiffs give way to apple tart and cinnamon followed by vanilla and cream tea biscuits. Fresh, pure, silky delivery features biscuity malt, pear tart, straw bale and lingering vanilla sweetness. Impresses with its length and balance. Some grassy / ginger biscuit freshness on the finish. If it's Glenfarclas it's not one for Sherry heads. In fact, remarkably polite given the age, provenance and ABV. 52.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
