2005 Red Nectar Wines Stonewell Cabernet Sauvignon

Vigneron, Tammy Schultz becomes the 6th generation member of the Schultz family to enter the wine industry. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of tea leaf, followed by cassis, mocha and cedar. On the palate cassis, cedar iodine and black pepper emerge. The tannins appear a touch too pronounced for the fruit. Aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit, prune and spice with dry tannins persisting.
