2005 Providence Madame Miguet Tasmanian Reserve Chardonnay

This wine is named in honour of the founding vineyard owner’s wife – Madame Annette Cecile Miguet who tended the vineyard whilst her husband pursued his engineering career. Bright gold colour with pale gold hue. Top note of honeycomb followed by hazelnut and cashew, showing lifted barrel ferment character. Buttery palate with creamy texture over a layer of yeast lees, grapefruit and hazelnut, showing some developed character. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees and hazelnut. A developed Burgundy style.
