The Poverty Hill concept was formed by a group of friends in 2002 that collectively have 100 years experience in the wine industry. One assumes that firstly there is only a small group and secondly that the cumulative experience has been positive! The fruit for this wine was grown by Rob Buck.

Very deep crimson colour with very deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of vanilla, spice, confectionary and ripe blackberry. The palate displays flavours of blackberry and dark chocolate, followed by plum pudding flavours on the back palate. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla, blackberry and dark chocolate.
Cellar 1-2 years
