2005 Plantagenet Riesling

Bright straw colour with water like hue. Tropical fruit top note, followed by ripe pear with a hint of lychee. On the palate flavours of lime and tropical fruit followed by a pear end note. Very good acid backbone. Aftertaste of lime, pear, spice and tropical fruit.
Cellar 3-5 years (2009-2011)
Alc/Vol: 13%

The light straw-colored 2005 Riesling exhibits notes of slate and petrol on the nose followed by flavors of lemon cream buttressed by lively acidity. Although its excellent balance suggests that it can age, I’d opt for drinking it over the next couple of years.
