2005 Oyster Bay Merlot

This Merlot delivers excellent colour. Deep crimson colour with deep mauve crimson hue. Medium body. Lifted nose of mulberry and spice followed by a touch of cherry and truffle. On the palate flavours of cherry and mulberry are evident, followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine dry tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of mulberry and spice, with fine dry tannins persisting.
