2005 Oakridge Over the Shoulder Cabernet Merlot

Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. The colour is holding up well. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by spice with a hint of cedar and violet. The palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice followed by fine chalky, dryish tannins. Aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and liquorice.
