Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Top note of cherry, followed by strawberry jam and spice, showing good primary fruit characteristics. On the palate flavours of sour cherry and spice followed by light strawberry. The acidity is a touch on the light side. Aftertaste of spice and sour cherry.

First Tasted, June 2006: The wine displays very good Pinot colour with deep crimson and deep mauve crimson hue. Lifted nose of raspberry, violet and strawberry. The palate flavour profile is still developing with flavours of raspberry, cherry, plum and stewed fruit emerging. Fine, dryish tannins. Aftertaste of cherry and stewed fruit with spiciness persisting.
