2005 Mr Riggs Watervale Riesling

A powerful aromatic Riesling that will continue to evolve.

Winemaker Ben Riggs is now ‘flexing his muscles’ and demonstrating clearly that he is master of all grape varieties. Brilliant pale straw colour with waterlike hue. Lifted, fresh aromatic nose of lime followed by floral orange blossom and lemon end notes. The palate flavours reflect the nose and are intense with precisely defined Riesling character. Flavours of lime, lemon and orange blossom infusions fill the palate and run long into the aftertaste. Crisp acid backbone.
