2005 Mount Camel Ridge Shiraz

Medium body, crimson colour with deep crimson hue, surprisingly low colour saturation for Heathcote Shiraz. Perfumed nose with top notes of confectionary, spice, vanilla and blackberry. On the palate flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit followed by a sour inky background. Fine grained slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of plum, cherry and light liquorice.
