2005 Montara Shiraz

Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson mauve hue. Top note of liquorice followed by spice and blackberry with end notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate flavour profile falls away with flavours of stewed plum, spice and light liquorice – without any of the follow through that the nose suggests. Fine grained dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, plum and spice.
