2005 Mildara Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

A top example of ripe Coonawarra Cabernet and a great follow up to the 2004

Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Superb Cabernet nose. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by spice and cedar, delivering a refined sniff, with a violet end note. The palate has excellent weight. Flavours of blackcurrant, cedar and cassis are evident over a spicy background. Dry, but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of cassis and cedar.
