2005 McHenry Hohnen 3 Amigos Shiraz Grenache Mataro

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of raspberry, followed by spice and liquorice delivering an impressive Grenache lift. The fruit on the palate fades out and does not live up to the expectations of the nose. Dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry and liquorice and dry tannins persisting.
