The Rhone Valley vineyards run in and out between hills, perching on terraces and precipitous hillsides. The reds from the region are composed of many different grape varieites, with Shiraz and Grenache usually dominating. This is a good everday drinking Cote du Rhone, that will please those with a preference for lighter style reds.

Excellent crimson, purple, mauve colour with mauve hue. Aroma of spice followed by cherry and a hint of liquorice. The palate flavour profile is slightly drier than the 2004 release of the wine. Flavours of spice, cherry and raspberry emerge, with a hint of earth. Raspberry and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 13.5%
