'Stunning - A must for lovers of developed Riesling'.

This is a sensational Riesling that is now showing superb developed characteristics. The 2005 Vintage was one of the all time great Riesling vintages, where the climatic conditions were ideal for the development of strong aromatics. Cool nights and warm sunny days contribute to the intensity of this wine. Three years of bottle age has given the wine a layer of complexity that is close to perfect. The fruit was grown in the Northern Coonawarra vineyard from 10 year old vines which are trellised to VSP (Vertical Shoot Positioning). The wine was awarded the distinguished Karl Seppelt Trophy for Best White Wine from Classes 1, 3, 8, 10, 16, 21 and 26 at the Limestone Coast wine show.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose is still developing with top note of honey and honeycomb followed by light lime and toast end notes. The palate is showing very impressive development, with flavours of lime, honey and honeycomb emerging, followed by nuances of ripe pineapple. Clean acid finish, followed by long lime and honeycomb aftertaste. A must have Riesling!
