2005 Knappstein Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with purple hue, showing good cling to the glass. Top note of violet, followed by blackberry, plum, and vanilla, showing impressive varietal character. The palate displays flavours of plum and spice over fine chalky tannins, which are dry but balanced. Aftertaste of black pepper, with fine tannins persisting.
