2005 Hurley Vineyard Homage Pinot Noir

The fruit for the Homage comes from a 2 acre North-East facing vineyard which is planted to Pinot clone G5V15.
Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of spice and strawberry followed by a hint of truffle and light earth. The palate displays a fullness of flavours which is dominated by a strong spicy strawberry profile. Fine slightly grainy tannins but otherwise virtually velvet smooth. Very strong and persistent aftertaste of cherry and spice.
