Produced from grapes grown on Grant Burge’s Corryton Park Vineyard said to be the highest and coolest of Barossa’s’ vineyards. The wine was matured for 20 months in French oak with a further 18 months bottle age prior to being released. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of liquorice allsorts followed by plum, confectionary and vanilla delivering a superb perfumed sniff. Mouthfilling ripe Cabernet palate flavours of plum, spice and confectionary over a background of dark chocolate and black pepper. Perfect balance. Very peppery aftertaste.
