There are plenty of anorexic wines on the market, but the block buster wines of the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Rutherglen and Heathcote are contemporary expressions of viticultrual mastery, to be consumed in slow sips over a long meal. Cheap and cheerful they are not!

This Shiraz is an explosion of flavour!

Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue, displaying total saturation. Superb lifted nose with a top note of vanilla, followed by spice, blackberry juice and freshly packed liquorice allsorts with a strong black pepper end note. Totally mouthfilling explosive palate flavour. Layers of vanilla, black pepper, blackberry, spice and liquorice deliver a palate of great length and depth. Exceptionally long aftertaste of black pepper which lingers for minutes.
