2005 Gibson The Dirtman Shiraz

'The Dirtman' is one of Gibson's nome de plumes. Gibson has chosen fruit from two of Barossa Valley's great areas. Eden Valley fruit confers complexity and finesse, whilst fruit grown in the North Barossa delivers that classic voluptuous quality.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of vanilla, followed
by plum and spice, delivering a perfumed sniff. The palate is generous, with flavours of plum, stewed fruit, blackberry and liquorice emerging over a white pepper background. Fine grained slightly dusty tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of spice, plum & vanilla, with spiciness persisting.
