2005 Ese Vineyards Unwooded Unwooded Chardonnay

The vineyard is operated by the Brianese family with the wine being made by Julian Alcorso. Brilliant straw colour with water like hue. Aroma of peach and peach skins followed by a hint of melon. The palate lacks depth with the acidity being quite high, giving the wine an austere character. Flavours of citrus and grapefruit emerge. Grapefruit, lemon aftertaste.
