Since it’s first release in 1982 Elderton have established a reputation as one of Barossa’s benchmark producers of Shiraz. This wine is consistently rated one of the region’s best value Shiraz – it rich, ripe voluptuous flavours at a price point that over delivers capturing wine lovers imaginations around the world.

Matured in a combination of French and American oak puncheons for 12 months.Very deep black crimson colour with black purple hue. Perfumed nose of vanilla, blackberry and spice with violet end notes, showing strong Shiraz character. The palate has the classic Elderton voluptuous character, but is a touch more elegant than Shiraz from previous vintages which is reflective of the vintage conditions. The palate has excellent length and depth with flavours of blackberry, vanilla and spice emerging. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Long aftertaste of vanilla, plum and liquorice.
