What do Michael Jackson, Steve Irwin and Wayne Dutschke have in common? Michael Jackson waved his baby out of a hotel window, Steve Irwin took his young lad straight into the crocodile pit, waving him around as live bait, and Wayne Dutschke dipped his 6 week old daughters feet into a bucket of fermenting Cabernet and afterwards making an impression of her foot prints to post to baby Sami’s grandparents in the U.S. One could say that the common thread in their actions is to give the babies a foretaste of what life will be like in the future. The Sami Cabernet Sauvignon is a 6 barrel blend, producing some 200 dozen bottles of wine.

Deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. There is a top note of cedar followed by a hint of tea leaf, blackcurrant and spice. The back palate is very spicy and is supported by fine grained tannins. Excellent palate length and persistence. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and cassis.
