2005 Domaine Phillip Jones Old Cellar Pinot Noir

Bright brick red colour with brick red, sienna brown hue. Top note of stewed cherry, followed by spice and just a hint of strawberry jam. The palate is a big let down. Flavours of sour cherry, sour stewed fruit – some spice emerging. The acidity is too high. Aftertaste of sour cherry and sour stewed fruit.
