2005 Darling Park Reserve Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue and delicate green tinge. The nose displays good varietal character with top note of fig, followed by yeast lees and honeycomb. On the palate flavours of honey, lychee, almond and cashew emerge over a lees background. Clean acid finish. The wine is very much alive. Aftertaste of yeast lees, spice and hazelnut.
