2005 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Noir

Deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Lifted nose – showing very pronounced varietal character. Top note of spice and black cherry, followed by a hint of anise and violets. A magnificent start. The palate has excellent weight and power, layers of cherry, anise, liquorice and spice. Mouthfilling, showing a classic Pinot Noir power wave. Velvet tannins, with very long aftertaste.
