Other Reviews…….
A spectacular effort, the 2005 Syrah Moritz exhibits aromas and flavors of acacia flowers, blackberry and blueberry liqueur, full body, a velvety texture, a big, exotic, flamboyant personality, and a spectacular finish. It should drink well young and easily last for 20 years or more.

Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate

The 2005 Syrah Moritz Vineyard was sourced from “only” 30-year-old vines. It offers floral notes, cassis, bacon, smoked meat, and blueberry compote. Opulent and sweet with gobs of flavor, it should have a 20 year lifespan.
