2005 Clairault Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Retasted: Bright pale straw colour with pale straw hue. Grassy, unripe gooseberry top note, showing some dusty characteristics, followed by confectionary and a vegetative end note. The palate has good weight and creamy texture. Flavours of unripe gooseberry are followed by a light vegetative back palate. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of ripe gooseberry, confectionary and tropical fruit.
