2005 Charles Sturt University Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue. Top note of spice, followed by blackcurrant, vanilla and a hint of liquorice. The palate is less voluptuous than the 2004 delivering a fine elegant style. Flavours of plum, spice, liquorice and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins. Excellent balance. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, spice and liquorice.
