Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of spice followed by cherry and just a hint of confectionary. The palate has good weight with spice and cherry flavours dominant. Fine grained tannins, but slightly chalky. Some stewed fruit emerges and persists into the aftertaste.
