2005 Cantina Tollo Colle Secco Rubino Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

Opaque dark red black colour with dark red mauve hue. Lifted dark cherry, plum and spice aromas with a hint of earth as a background note. Medium weight displaying good levels of fruit with flavours of dark cherry and spice dominate followed by some dark plum and leather back palate characters. Fine grained but slightly dry leathery tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and leather.
Drink now or cellar 2-3 years (2010-2013)
