2005 Bylines Shiraz

Made from old vines Shiraz, which has spent 20 months in new and old French oak. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of liquorice followed by plum, blackberry and cedar, with a violet end note. The palate has good weight with a classic ‘joosy; character. Flavours of liquorice, plum, spice and black pepper are supported by fine grained tannins with a touch of plum and dark chocolate in the background. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum, spice and black pepper.
