2005 Briar Ridge Old Vines Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of stewed fruit, followed by spice and just a hint of leather. The wine shows considerable development. On the palate flavours of confectionary, new and old leather and spice followed by earth and truffle end notes. This is an old fashioned red. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of spice, earth and truffle.
