2005 Blue Pyrenees Cabernet Sauvignon

Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by a hint of violet, cedar, spice and a touch of anise to finish. The palate flavours are quite dry with fine dusty chalky tannins, holding up some stewed fruit flavours. Chalky aftertaste with stewed fruit characteristics persisting.
