2005 Black Jack Block 6 Shiraz

The Black Jack vineyards are located on the granite soils of the Harcourt Valley in the Bendigo region of Central Victoria. Established in 1988 with the first release being made in 1994, Black Jack quickly established a reputation for its concentrated reds.

Opaque black purple colour with purple mauve hue. Perfumed nose of liquorice, vanilla, blackberry and spice. The palate flavours are generous – vanilla, confectionary, spice and plum emerge over a background of liquorice, followed by a strong black pepper back palate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of plum and vanilla.
