2005 Beelgara Estate Winemakers Selection Black Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with mauve purple hue. Medium body. Top note of ripe blackberry, followed by violet and liquorice allsorts, delivering a perfumed sniff. The tannins are fine, dry and slightly chalky, supporting flavours of liquorice, plum and spice followed by a vanilla and black cherry back palate. The spiciness is quite persistent, Liquorice, plum, spice aftertaste.
