A superb example of Cabernet!

The fruit has been sourced from two blocks, 77% the Dead Morris vineyard and 23% from the Walker vineyard. Three French coopers provided oak casks – Taransaud, Seguin Moreau and St Martin.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is superb, with ripe aromas filling the head. Perfumed top notes of violet, spice, blackcurrant and cedar provide a sophisticated sniff. The palate is layered and it’s structured to last. Although on the tight side, it reveals layers of chocolate, blackcurrant and cedar which are beautifully balanced. Very long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and cedar.
Cellar 8-10 years (2015-2017)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%

Other Reviews….
Deep purple-red; an incredibly powerful and expressive bouquet, the luscious but tightly framed blackcurrant, cassis and French oak precisely fulfilling the promises of the bouquet. To 2025.
