2005 Balgownie Estate Shiraz Viognier

A small parcel of this co-fermented blend has been produced, Very deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of liquorice, spice, dried apricots, blackberry and plum. The palate flavours are drier than expected, with dried apricots on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dried apricots, spice and white pepper.
