2005 Balgownie Estate Cabernet Merlot

A medium bodied red. Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed top note of blackcurrant and spice, followed by liquorice allsorts, mulberry, plum and leather. On the palate flavours of plum and liquorice are evident followed by a touch of dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum, chocolate and stewed fruit.
